HTS Lkw unterwegs auf einer Direkt- und Sonderfahrt
Freight transport · Special run

When standard is not enough.

Direct runs, just-in-sequence, workbench to building site. We plan around your conditions, not the other way round.

Direct and special runs in NRW: your route, not our standard

Some jobs fit no grid: the spare part that must reach the line without a detour, the just-in-sequence delivery on call, the direct run from workbench to building site. For such cases we plan around your conditions: route, time window and vehicle to your specification, one shipment exclusively on one vehicle, without transhipment.

For labelled dangerous goods, ADR-trained drivers are available depending on the substance class. We deliver palletised goods by tail lift without a ramp, and bulky items over the roof by crane on request. Geographically we are flexible: from day trips in the Ruhr region to multi-day routes to the Mediterranean. You brief the person who dispatches the route directly.

Because no special trip is like the next, you brief the person who plans the tour directly: route, time window and vehicle follow your specification, one shipment exclusively on one vehicle. For labelled dangerous goods, ADR-trained drivers are available depending on the substance class, and palletised goods we deliver via tail lift without a ramp. Geographically we are flexible: from a day tour in the Ruhr region to a multi-day route to the Mediterranean, traceable by GPS at all times.

  • ADR for dangerous goods

ADR-trained drivers depending on substance class, load securing to VDI 2700.

FAQ

Special runs — in brief

What is the difference between a direct run and a special run?

A direct run takes a shipment to its destination without transhipment. "Special run" is the umbrella term for individually dispatched routes: with a special vehicle, time window, route or cargo. Every direct run is possible; many special runs are also direct runs.

Do you transport dangerous goods too?

Yes, depending on the substance class we deploy ADR-trained drivers. Tell us the dangerous-goods class when you enquire and we plan vehicle and driver accordingly.

How far do you drive for a special run?

From a day trip in the Ruhr region and NRW to multi-day routes into the DACH region, the Netherlands, Belgium or as far as the Mediterranean: the distance depends on your job.

Can you carry out a special run at short notice?

Usually yes. Our line is staffed around the clock, and you receive a binding quote within 60 minutes at most. With free capacity the driver sets off immediately.

Do you deliver bulky goods without a ramp at the recipient?

Yes. With a tail lift (3.5- and 16-tonne) and crane loading over the roof on the 16-tonne truck, even heavy or bulky goods without a ramp are no problem.

A route that’s not off the shelf?

Brief dispatch directly.
