Airport transfer — in brief
What does an airport transfer to Düsseldorf cost?
From Dortmund / Kreis Unna we start at €135 (gross) for the limousine or van for up to 3 people. The exact price depends on pickup address, number of passengers and time of day and is set bindingly at booking.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing to worry about: we track your flight number and shift the pickup automatically. We do not charge waiting time caused by a flight delay on airport pickups.
Can you carry several people or a travel group?
Yes. For families and small groups we use the van; for larger groups a coach for up to 29 seats.
Do you also drive to Frankfurt or Hamburg?
Yes, long-haul airports such as FRA, HAM or FMO we serve on request at an individual fixed price. Just mention it when you book.
How early should I book the transfer?
The earlier, the more certain your preferred time, especially during holidays and for early departures. We also handle short-notice trips when capacity allows.
How early before departure will you pick me up?
We agree on this together when you book. As a rule of thumb we plan the actual drive time plus around two hours' buffer at the airport for European flights, or three hours for intercontinental flights, plus a margin for rush-hour traffic, so you reach check-in without stress.
Will you pick me up right at the terminal after landing?
Yes. For the return trip we track your flight number and are there at the actual landing time. By default we meet at the agreed point in front of the terminal; on request your driver welcomes you with a name sign in the arrivals hall (meet & greet).
Can you provide child seats?
Yes. We provide child seats and booster seats on request. Just tell us the number and ages of the children when booking and everything will be ready.
Are the rides insured and are you licensed?
Yes. HTS operates under a valid licence in line with the German Passenger Transport Act, and our drivers hold the passenger transport permit (P-Schein). Every ride is covered by motor third-party liability including passenger insurance.
How can I pay?
Private customers pay by bank transfer in advance or in cash with the driver; business customers are invoiced, on request as a monthly consolidated bill. We settle your preferred payment method when you book.
