Long-distance rail has become fast: in a few hours you are in the Ruhr region from far away. Only the journey rarely ends at the platform — the actual destination is almost always a little further. It is exactly this last mile between track and destination at which good journeys often fail: a missed connection, cases up stairs, waiting in the rain.
What a station transfer is worth
A station transfer takes you from the main station straight to your destination — without changing again. It is especially useful in three cases:
- Groups and delegations. Instead of everyone continuing individually by local transport with luggage, one vehicle collects the whole group. More convenient, and usually cheaper.
- Appointments that need a buffer. To a business meeting, a conference or a celebration you want to arrive predictably — not hope for the next bus.
- Lots of luggage. Anyone travelling with cases, exhibition equipment or instruments does not want platform stairs.
We serve the region's long-distance stations
Whether Dortmund, Hamm, Bochum, Essen, Düsseldorf or Cologne main station — we regularly serve the major long-distance stops in western NRW. We get you to the ICE on time or pick you up on arrival, keeping an eye on your train number. On request we wait with a name sign on the platform.
When the train does not run
Strike, overhead-line fault, signal failure: anyone who travels by rail regularly knows the days when nothing moves. Then the comfort transfer becomes a real rescue. Within our availability we step in at short notice and drive the route the train cannot manage right now — for individual travellers as well as whole groups whose connection has fallen through.
